He does use our interest as an invitation, and sometimes I would confuse that with desire and shy away, but with maturation and discerment im starting to learn that sometimes it's him saying, "I have something to show you." All this time I thought it was me going to the ocean my happy place, but it was really God giving me a glimpse of his awesomeness, beauty, and peace that transformed me during one of the darkest times of my life.
